...And they might be right. But I'd like to think I'm right when I need to be....
That being said...
Yeah...Certainly had plenty of time to jump on the wagon. But, you'd be surprised to know that I know virtually nothing about Zelda!
Which I think just makes it all the more fun for me. So I've decided to journal along as I explore this new land.
Because I'm old and have always wanted my own blog. And I'm figuring out this html business.
So enjoy the shenanigans.
So I'm just going to blog about my video game journeys, playing the games I should have played twenty years ago. But there were more important things going on then.
But things are different now.
Well, not really.
But they are expanding! And trying new old things! So without further ado, I think we should get down to the Hyrule Journey!
You know, I've always been a fan of Link. Thought he looked cool.
Picked him on Smash Bros. Mario Kart. All that jazz. I just never played the game. I know virtually nothing about Link.
And apparently the plot of this game is : neither does Link.
A match made in heaven.
Link and I have a lot in common, it seems. I too enjoy lengthy slumbers and breathtaking views.
Spent a good amount of time running around in awe, looking at what I could. I met a mysterious old man that strung me along about how to get off the plateu.
Sent me to an almost certain death up the freezing mountain. Twice!
But as it turns out, he's not so bad after all.
And apparently we go way back.
He sent me to meet Impa, to figure out who I am. And gave me my paraglider! And with that I was off to the next zone! Flyin' high!
Reading through my vaugue notes of this portion, I think it's best I just put an exerpt here. It should do the trick :
"I've made it to the second zone. On my way to meet someone named Impa. Met a meat vendor. Sold him a lot of shit. I seem to have stumbled upon some sort of stables…..This game sure is something…. Dueling Peaks Stables I do believe…
Made it to the city.
Every one worships me.
Met Impa, and heard her tale of my past. I guess. I'm not entirely sure…But she said she had to tell me…
Ah. Apparently the princess has tasked me with unlocking some sort of demon beasts. Sure, sure….Sounds dangerous…But it also sounds like I'm going to start heading to places where I can buy cool outfits….
I mean uh….
Armor…and weapons…
Yes. Of course….
Hateno Village…. We made it.
Spent the night at the Inn. Some dude named Manny asked us to hit on the front desk lady there. I don't think she was a fan….
Whoever has my memories is here…or…something like that…I don't totally remember… The nice science ladies fixed up my phone after I ran up a hill with some blue fire. What a time. Now I can take pictures. And find my memories. And track my collection of knowledge.
I've got a nice cape. A full phone do-hickey, and plenty of stuff under my belt….but I simply cannot stop…Ooooo, this might not be good….apparently I need to go find whatever I need to make my clothes yellow!
Alright, alright. I've unlocked my third tower. I will call it a break here. Wow. I think I went for like six hours straight. Woah."
Frankly, it was all a blur of trying to get to the towns and hit the towers so I could have some sembelance of a map.
I currently have the cheapest outfit I could get, but I'm now on a quest to find out what I need to turn it yellow!
What does this world have in store for me? I can't wait to find out.
Also, turns out I took a lot more recordings than screenshots, so I'll have to see what I can do with all of that....
Until next time!
